Two households, left v. right: a tragedy in the guise of a romance about what happens when no one can see past their own feed. If any character, at any point, had the courage to question the binary—us v. them—everyone would have lived. But no one does. The idea of 'them' becomes their fate. And our star-crossed lovers never had a chance.
